The Graduate School of Life Science produces researchers with a high level of originality and deep and comprehensive knowledge. Our aim is to make use of genomics and proteomics methodologies to facilitate the development of researchers with comprehensive understanding of various types of life phenomena resulting from the interactions of biomolecules who will also consider the applied aspects of these phenomena.
We provide our graduate students with deep knowledge and analytical ability, producing talented researchers who can carry out studies with a high degree of originality in the fields of basic to applied life sciences, such as medical, pharmaceutical, veterinary, agricultural, and fisheries science, as well as biotechnology.
The Hokkaido University Graduate School of Life Science confers Master of Life Science (Ms. Life Sci.) for those who have completed the masters degree course and Doctor of Life Science (Dr. Life Sci.) for those who have completed the doctorate course. |
