Due to the rapid spread of infection of the Covid‐19 Omicron variant in Hokkaido, the number of newly infected is over 1000 per day in the Hokkaido Prefecture. Moreover, the number of newly infected persons and close contacts has been increasing rapidly at our university as well.

As to specific countermeasures on Alert Level 2, please follow the instructions of your supervisors.

We appreciate your continued understanding and cooperation to prevent the spread of infection such as wearing a mask, hand washing, avoiding the 3Cs (confined spaces/crowded places/close contact), and avoiding eating, etc. in large groups, not only when you are on campus but also outside of the Campus.
